How to automate your spreadsheets with Formstack Documents

Automating your excel files can be a huge time saver, since a lot of people and companies use them for reports, estimates, proposals... you name it! There are a few things to be aware of when creating your excel files though. The biggest thing is that you can't include Formstack Tags in Excel functions. All tags must be included in their own cells in order for them to be recognized by Formstack and available for use in your functions.

Another helpful tip is the tableif function, which allows you to conditionally show or hide rows in your final document. Here are a few examples of the table function you can add to rows on your excel files. (Be sure to include the closing tag {/tableif} at the end of your rows.
