Frequently asked questions
What is No Code Collab?
When you set out to do something you've never done before, there is a good chance you'll suck (🙋). It will take longer and be more frustrating than expected. But over time, if you stick with it, you'll learn. You'll improve. You might even get pretty good.
No Code Collab is where I, Kyle Simmons, share what I've learned. Originally just on YouTube, I've now expanded into this course.
Do I need to pay for any tools or software for this course?
Yes. The tool we rely most heavily on is Formstack Documents. This is a paid tool. If you want to support me, here is my affiliate link. While the concepts we cover are applicable to other document automation tools, I wouldn't recommend this course if you're not planning to use Formstack Documents.
Depending on how you collect your data, you may need to sign up for the following tools: Formstack Forms, Airtable, Typeform, Zapier and Make.com.
Is there anything document related that you don't cover?
Right now, I have no plans to cover anything Salesforce - including Formstack for Salesforce. While it shares a name, this tool is a completely different beast than Formstack Forms. Unless you're a Salesforce guru, I would recommend finding a Formstack Partner to help with the Salesforce app - there are just too many nuances and things that can trip you up.
Additionally, I don't have any sections on signatures planned right now. I plan to have a conceptual/theory video on signatures, but not a deep dive. My experience is with Formstack Sign - and I've found most people use Docusign. So unless I get requests about doing a Formstack Sign sections, I plan to focus my energy on other documents.
How often do you release new content?
My hope is to release new sections every month or two. I have a list of document ideas - but if you send ideas or things you need help with, I can possibly create content for that. Eventually the content will run out - as there are only so many ways you can create merge tags and conditional logic in your documents.... but we're not there yet.
Are you paid by Formstack?
No. I do have affiliate links - so if you want to support my work, sign up for a new account with this link.
Otherwise, no, Formstack does not pay me. My opinions are my own. There are many aspects of Formstack that I love (I think it's the most powerful document automation tool available)... and several things that I loathe (mainly having to do with training resources and support time).
Is support included?
Given the price of the course, unique circumstances of each build, and the time required for support, I can't really offer or guarantee support for your specific automation. That said, if you send me an email (kyle@nocodecollab.com), I'll get back to you. I may not be able to provide free support, but still shoot me an email.
Is there a free trial?
Yeah - kinda. Several of the videos are unlocked - so you can see the quality, style, and give it a little test run before diving in.
